Otterbox iPhone Case
A good review of the Otterbox iPhone case.
This is why I got an Otterbox Armor iPhone case. This case is the Sherman tank of iPhone cases. It opens with two sturdy latches. Inside is a stereo plug that slides into your iPhone and a rubber grip to hold it snug.

Unlimited
I don’t know if you’ve heard but there is an absolute flood of information concerning a pretty major shift that’s going down all over the cell phone world: cell phone service providers are FINALLY opening their doors to unlimited plans!

VON.x Here We Come
Among the conferences my partner and I had high on our list to attend, VON.x in San Jose was one of the most important. Due to scheduling, spring break, and cost, we sadly came to the conclusion we just couldn’t attend. When your work is focused on a particular area and you have to miss a key event, it’s a deflating feeling.

Good Tech Support
I think this has happened 3 times now and this last time I couldn't get the email application to d/l. It would run to completion then say it didn't download correctly and try later. It did that for about a week and a half and finally I called Sprint.

Flipping Through The Phone Directory
Click through for the James Hydrick video with the pencil and the telephone directory.
In any case, all of this reminded me of a fantastic example of applied skepticism in the case of James Randi’s exposing of James Hydrick, a young man who claimed to be able to perform telekinesis in moving a pencil and flipping the pages of a telephone directory. Of course, the hack was full of hot air - quite literally, in fact, as he moved both items simply by blowing on them:

Wife-Cancelling Headphones
So the other night, I’m lying in bed checking the hours of the library on my iPhone. Mike was getting ready to listen to his iPod. He put his headphones in and said, “I won’t be able to hear you starting now. These headphones are noise-canceling.”

Apple Se Lanza A Por Los Videojuegos
Is Apple going after the videogame console market with the iPhone?
Aún parece lejano el día que la empresa lance su primer dispositivo en este mercado, pero si lo hacen del mismo modo que con el iPhone, seguro que veremos un antes y un después de ello.

Happy Anniversary
Margaret sent me to the Verizon store yesterday because the microphone on my cell phone no longer works. I didn’t come away with an audible sell, because the very patient Verizon franchisee explained that I wasn’t eligible for a new phone till April 8 — at which time I could receive a “free” phone if I re-upped for another two-year contract.

Voicemail-to-web Service In Canada
I’m not looking to switch to a new provider (like Vonage). I just want a service like K7 or GrandCentral that has a Canadian area code (ideally 604, but I’m not picky).
