Motorola Sliver Scalpel

phones motorola sliver Look for the Motorola Scalpel and Sliver coming out before Christmas.

The new quarter-inch-wide phone is his weapon of choice in Motorola’s bid to overtake archrival Nokia Oyj in its strongholds overseas. About half as thick as the pricey Razr phone U.S. customers embraced last year, Scalpel also incorporates the “candy bar” shape of almost all of Nokia’s models.

The razer L7 v8 has a battery life of 17 days on standby. Not bad. For a small phone it actually has a beefy size battery. You say the phone gets bad service. Its not the phone its just that cingular in your area is not as good as your previous service

Adrian, are serious. So you think the sliver sucks. Do you know anything about it? The sliver is a not a bad phone and the price will drop. If you shop around you can find a sliver for under 100 $ no service contract. Not a bad price for a phone that holds 100 songs.

i have the sliver "slvr" right now. and when i heard about this scalpel i was kind of upset with the name. it just seems cliche by this point

the reception on the phone is horrible. i was able to find it on-sale for $29 so i left Sprint to join Cingular and am greatly regretting it.

too much static on the phone and the person on the other end complains about an echo. i'll be returning mine within the 30 day period and probably switching back to Sprint.

when will sprint get this phone?

Very sweet, but at a 1/4" thick, for a cell phone to fit a battery that small, the battery life must be short. I can't wait to see stats! If it they look good, I'm buying!

these phones seem to be getting to small. next thing you know it'll be paper thin and they'll come in packages of three so you have back-ups for when you break them or lose them.
