First Look At AOL Internet Phone Service

I think AOL may be a little late to the party with their new CallWays product, but maybe they can leverage their AIM installed base.

Voxilla has posted a review of AOL CallWays Internet Phone Service. Using the familiar combination of functionality and advertising, AOL has created what many hope will be the catalyst for the VoIP explosion. AOL CallWays is call management application that interfaces with a supplied telephone adapter to allow subscribers to make calls from within the AOL CallWays interface. Users can call from their telephone, launch calls from their contact manager, listen to e-mail messages and reply by phone, and obtain voice mail from anywhere in the world.
