School District Moves To VoIP, Linux

Companies like Microsoft usually give huge discounts to educators. It they're switching, I guess the discounts aren't large enough.

This case study demonstrates how a school system saved by making the transition to VoIP and migrating 50 servers to Red Hat Linux. The effort represented a significant overhaul of existing intrastructure. I believe we'll be seeing more and more of this type of story.
