Unlocking Phones
After a quick Google search, I found several websites that advertised unlocking services for Motorola V551’s and other phone models. Many of these websites charge $10 to $20 for a code that they will give you via email that will unlock the phone. BE WARNED! I have found out that this only works for certain Nokia phones. Usually all other phones require firmware updates, and that cannot be done by typing in a code. Most phones have to be connected to a computer via USB cable and have the firmware replaced by an unlocked version.
