At Least As Of Today, They Don't Make Your Head Explode
Another entry into the annals of does-it-or-doesn’t it. In this case, cell phones. Do they cause brain tumors or don’t they? Evidence seems likely, and then it doesn’t.
The problem with these studies, however, is that they cannot positively rule out a link between the two. They just couldn’t establish one in this study, and that’s a big difference from saying that “cell phones do not lead to brain tumors” or that “cell phones are completely safe.” The scientists who did this study do admit that; that even though they couldn’t establish a link between tumors and cell phones, they could not rule out the possibility that mobile handsets may cause long-term health problems,...
